Dr. Canino

I volunteered a couple times with Teresita & her therapy dog named Wind to children's hospitals. It was so sad to see such young innocents in pain. They really touched my heart. The children loved the dogs.

 The Doctors are in.

It was so special to see how simply playing with a dog can make an ill child so happy

These hospital visits made me realized just how blessed I am. I am grateful for the healthy children in my life & wish to give to those who aren't so lucky. I am so honored that I was able to meet these children. They are truly fighters & regardless of the pain & suffering they are going through, they were still able to smile.

City Art

Last week I saw a Spanish foreign film called Finisterrae @ an art gallery theatre in San Juan Guatemala. It was a very bizarre & silly art film. The experience was  quite interesting though.

Down the street & a few days later, I saw all of these creative statues, buildings, & graffiti art.

This guy was pretty cool. He stayed completely still & when I gave him a small $ tip, he moved & tilted his hat to me like a real caballero

I thought this graffiti was so kick-ass!

Zoo

Hola everyone,
Today I went to the zoo! La Aurora Zoo to be precise. Being an animal lover I took tons of pics but I'm only going to post my absolute favorites here today:

 !Elefante!

                                                                     LMFAO!!

There was a mini aquarium there. I felt like I was in Petco :)

Metropolitan Cathedral

After visiting the Palace (@ the Historical center) I went to the Catedral Metropolitana. It was absolutely gorgeous in there:

Christ

                                                                        Mass

This statue almost brought me to tears. It was so sublime.

Virgin Mary

Although I'm not Catholic, I have an appreciation for the religion. Visiting this Cathedral was a
religious experience for me.
