Lake Atilan

 On Thursday, I went on a tour to see Lake Atilan & Chichicastenango.

It was a long but pretty drive to the lake. We stopped @ a lookout point.

When we got closer to the lake, we stopped @ another lookout point & there was a mini market there as well.

 Magnificent!

About 20 minutes later we arrived @ the marina & boarded the boat to the island.

It was a nice little port. Of course there were stray dogs there too. This is where later on after visiting the island we would eat lunch. I wanted to go swimming but it was way too cold.

 The boat ride took about half an hour but it was relaxing & there was a gorgeous view as well.
